Boomband HQ

Spent a day at Boomband headquarters in Rhode Island for a strategy session centered around *The Boomband Showcase* podcast and the broader direction of the brand's content ecosystem. I met with CEO Jeff Taylor and Madison Keefer to map out how the show can evolve beyond a traditional podcast and become a consistent platform for highlighting artists, stories, and the culture surrounding modern music retail.

Much of the conversation focused on long-term vision rather than individual episodes. We explored ways to make the show feel more like an ongoing destination for musicians and creators, while also creating content that can live across YouTube, social media, and Boomband's own channels. There was a lot of discussion around format, guest selection, and how to strike the balance between entertaining conversations and meaningful industry insights.

One thing that continues to stand out about Boomband is the energy of the team. Despite the rapid growth, there's still a sense that everyone involved genuinely loves music and understands the community they're serving. That authenticity comes through naturally and is something we're trying to preserve as the content side continues to expand.

The day included plenty of brainstorming, a few whiteboard sessions, and conversations about how to build a show with enough consistency and personality to become part of the broader Boomband identity. We also spent time discussing future guests, opportunities for on-location episodes, and ways to create a deeper connection with viewers and listeners who are passionate about music.

It's always rewarding to step away from the day-to-day production process and spend time thinking about the bigger picture. The best content strategies rarely come from chasing trends—they come from understanding who you are, who you're speaking to, and finding ways to tell those stories consistently. That's exactly the kind of work days like this are built for.
