Warburg Pincus NYC

Spent the day in Midtown capturing B-roll for a series of analyst recruiting stories with Warburg Pincus. These projects are always interesting because they sit at the intersection of filmmaking and storytelling. On the surface, it's about creating supporting visuals, but the real objective is helping people understand the culture, the opportunities, and the experience behind one of the world's leading private equity firms.
Most of the day was spent moving around the city with associates and analysts, capturing the moments that make these stories feel authentic. Coffee meetings, walking shots, conversations between colleagues, office environments, and those little in-between moments that help bring an interview to life. The challenge with this kind of work is making highly accomplished professionals feel natural on camera and creating visuals that support the story without feeling overly polished or staged.
It's a reminder that recruiting content doesn't have to look like recruiting content. People connect with people. They want to understand what a place feels like, what the work is like, and what kind of people they'll be surrounded by. The best stories aren't about perks or corporate messaging—they're about real experiences and the people living them every day.
One of the things I've enjoyed most about working with the team at Warburg Pincus is the trust they've placed in the creative process. Great content is rarely about capturing everything. It's about observing, listening, and finding those details that make a story feel honest. Sometimes that means spending an entire afternoon chasing light down a Midtown street or waiting for the right interaction to unfold naturally.
Days like this are a good reminder that no matter how much technology changes, storytelling still comes down to people. Cameras, lenses, editing and motion graphics all matter, but authenticity matters more. That's what ultimately makes these projects rewarding—and why I still enjoy every chance I get to spend a day in the field with clients like Warburg Pincus.
